What the hell happened there?

One of my old tires did this. Right rear, it bubbled coming home from work one day and threw belts and shit everywhere. It somehow stayed together and i limped it home.

Wait, fuck the tire. These things still have manual hubs?!

Some do. How else do you get to experience the joy that is 2-LO?

2-LO? I've never towed anything, so I'm assuming thats what you would use that for, because otherwise I'm lost.

Definitely would not want to tow anything in 2LO, since you'd get up to all of nowhere fast. Really its just a case of one less thing to break. 2LO is just what ends up happening with the t-case in low and the hubs disengaged.

Tire goiter. Poor nutrition?

I'm confused why you would ever want to even have 2LO be an option. Everything I can think of 4LO be useful, 2LO makes no sense.

Use Iodized Salt. It prevents goiters.

It's a great option when you're lazy and stuck and can't get out to lock the hubs.
